The Contact Group noted the progress in the de-escalation of the situation in the Donbas – BBC

The Contact Group, which includes representatives of Ukraine, the OSCE and Russia, noted the progress in the de-escalation of the situation in the Donbass. This was reported by press office of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe.

The meeting, held October 2 in Kiev, also expressed concern over the continuing violations of the ceasefire and arrangements reached on 19 September at a meeting in Minsk.

Tripartite Liaison Group also welcomed the start of work in Debalcevo (Donetsk region) joint center to monitor and coordinate issues related to the cease-fire regime and stabilization of the situation.
