Today, as in the past, all over the planet on Easter Eve again by the grace of God sounds fascinating and ever-living soul hymn “Christ is risen from the dead.” This hymn is calling us to a good mood in the Lord, to eternal life, honest work, to the forgiving love to firm standing for the Orthodox faith and the Church of Christ; it strengthens our hope and gives strength to patiently continue our witness to the world.

All of us should try to preserve the Orthodox faith and hold fast to it, and it needs to have a lot of patience. Christ says, “In your patience possess ye your souls” (Lk. 21:19), “But he who endures to the end shall be saved” (Matt. 10:22). The whole history of the Holy Church – is the way of patience, which have been saints of God, born with severe torment, harassment, persecution, lies and slander, destructive heresies and schisms, ungodly anger and death. With a living faith they defeated all the evil of this world, and this victory gave them a pledge of eternal life with our Lord Jesus Christ.

Last year was a lot of events, the opposite of joy. However, as Christians we should not be discouraged and sad, and are designed in every way to help those in need, so that their hearts are filled with light – because they are not alone in their affliction befell.
This year for our brethren Ukraine year of misery and suffering. But I feel joy from the fact that many believers Yakutia took part in assisting a peaceful people affected by the tragedy of internecine warfare and numerous other social events and works of charity. It’s a real Christian work, indicating that Orthodoxy in Yakutia deeply rooted in the hearts of people by giving fruit – “love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness” (Gal. 5:22).
Let strengthen us the joy of the resurrection of Christ, so that we can patiently endure all sorts of difficulties in our life on earth and be an example of reconciliation, harmony and love for all people who communicate with us.
On this holy day, I congratulate you, beloved flock Yakutia, with bright holiday of Christ’s Resurrection. With all my heart I wish you all in good health to carry out these Easter days, to the joy of the Risen Lord always fills your heart and soul. Almighty grace of Christ the Savior be with all of you, that in the unity of the faith and brotherly love eternal glory among our God-loving people most holy name of the Risen Lord Jesus Christ. Christ is Risen! Truly He is risen!
