US Senate Committee approved amendments to the law on the Iranian nuclear program – of Polit.ru

The US Senate Committee on Foreign Relations has unanimously approved a bill that gives Congress the deciding vote on the issue of Iran’s nuclear program, said Tuesday the agency AP.

For the adoption of the document voted all 19 members of the committee. Democrats and Republicans reached a compromise in the negotiations on the future of the Iranian atom. The White House said that Obama can sign the bill in its current form. Earlier, the president was going to veto it.

According to the current draft law, Congress has 30 days to make a conclusion on compliance with the conditions of the agreements Iran’s nuclear program.
