US: Russian bombers were in the air space near Alaska – BBC

Two Tu-95 “Bear” Russian Air Force on April 22 flew over the airspace near Alaska. It is reported by The Washington Free Beacon .

Such a statement made by the representative of the Joint Command of the North American Aerospace Defense Jeff Davis. According to the military, to intercept the US fighter jets were sent.

US officials say that the incident is likely indicative of the start of spring training cycle of the Russian long-range aviation.
