The launch of the second line of energy bridge in the Krasnodar Territory Crimea was broadcast live on TV channel “Russia 24″. As reported to the President’s Energy Minister Alexander Novak, the launch of the second line allowed to transfer operation of the power in the Crimea in a single operation with the Russian power system.
According to Putin, in April and May 2016 it is necessary to hold the peninsula two energonitki, which will deliver up to 800 MW of electricity.
The first line of the Kuban energy bridge to the Crimea was launched on December 2 – her start in Crimea Putin attended. Using this line of the peninsula supplied 200 MW. A few days later, Putin said that by the time the full launch of the energy bridge from the Krasnodar Territory in the Crimea from Russia should not be existing contracts for the supply of electricity from Ukraine.
During the week and a half before the launch of the first line of energy bridge about 1.9 million Crimean residents were left without electricity as a result of energy blockade from the territory of Ukraine.
