Turkey put its air force in a state of “full readiness” – RBC

In the Turkish Air Force declared the “orange” level of anxiety, the Turkish state news agency Anadolu Agency.

As it was explained to agency sources in military circles, an increased level of anxiety in the Turkish Air Force Base involves “full ready for anything “and the immediate response of pilots without the consent of the command.

Changes in the level of anxiety came a day after Ankara accused the Russian Air Force in the next violation of the state border of Turkey combat aircraft Su-34. Ankara stressed then that the violation of airspace by Russian aircraft in Turkey “may lead to serious consequences, the responsibility for which lies entirely in the Russian Federation».

The Turkish Foreign Ministry issued a statement about the incident on Saturday, January 30th. Office accused Russia that the Su-34 is located in Syria factions January 29 violated Turkish airspace.

Moscow denied the claim. Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said that no violations of the airspace by Russian military aircraft were not. Turkish Foreign Ministry official statement was thus called “unfounded propaganda».

However, the representative of the Ministry of Defense Mark Wright confirmed the Turkish side voiced accusations. “We are aware of reports and can confirm that yesterday, another Russian military aircraft violated the airspace of Turkey and NATO,” – said Wright agency “RIA Novosti».

The relationship between Moscow and Ankara entered the phase of the crisis after how on November 24 Turkish fighter jet shot down a Russian Su-24 bombardirovschih, accusing him of trespassing. The plane crashed in Syria, one of the pilots was killed and one Russian was killed during a rescue operation. Before this clash of the Turkish authorities have repeatedly said Russian aircraft violating the state border and warned about the response.
