North Korea transferred the clock half an hour ago and moved to its own time zone, the North Korean agency KCNA reports. Recall that North Korea has decided to celebrate the 70th anniversary of liberation from Japanese occupation, the creation of their own time zone. The new “Pyongyang time” is different from the current for half an hour: the country now living in the time zone GMT + 9.00, a new version – GMT + 8.30. North Korea says it is a symbol of struggle against Japanese imperialism: a time to act in Korea before the Japanese occupation in 1910.
