The vast majority of the citizens of Russia – 80 percent – oppose moving the capital from Moscow, but very few would want their children to live there.

Earlier, Russian politicians have repeatedly spoken of the need to transfer the capital of Russia to the east. At the same time it was usually about Siberia. In their opinion, this would stimulate economic development in the region.
