In the United States have successfully completed the first clinical trials of an experimental vaccine against the disease caused by the Ebola virus. Fauci called it “a promising factor,” and stressed that now science has become a “one step closer” to the development of a vaccine against the deadly disease. On Tuesday, December 2, US President Barack Obama plans to visit the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases to thank Fauci and his colleagues for their efforts in the fight against Ebola virus. Head of Administration intends to urge Congress to approve the selection in 2015 of additional budget funds for this purpose.
Before reported , that, according to the World Health Organization, the death toll from the Ebola virus reached 5689 people, with 15 935 identified cases of infection.
