The American film Academy awarded the “Oscar” for best supporting actress actress Alicia Vikander for her role in the film “The Girl from Denmark”.
In the film Tom Hooper Swedish actress played artist Gerda Wegener. For 27-year-old Wikander it was the first nomination for “Oscar”, and she immediately began winning.
