FSIN: Savchenko satisfactory condition starving – BBC Russian

Russian Federal Penitentiary Service denies information about the critical state of health Ukrainian pilots Hope Savchenko, more than two months in jail starving. According to the FSIN, doctors assess the state Savchenko as stable and satisfactory and supportive therapy.

Earlier, a member of the Presidential Council on Human Rights Elena Masuk requested to contribute a translation Savchenko from prison to house arrest, citing the fact that the state of health has deteriorated sharply starving and raises serious concerns.

According to Masuk, Savchenko “could die in the coming days”.

FSIN also asks “does not mislead the public false and unverified information”.

Savchenko accused of involvement in the deaths of two Russian journalists last summer at Lugansk. She herself rejects accusations.
