Zakharchenko: DNR heavy equipment returns to the front if Kiev withdraws his – a REGNUM

The head of the People’s Republic of Donetsk Alexander Zakharchenko delivered an ultimatum to Ukraine maturity withdrawal of heavy weapons from the line of contact in the Donbass. This was on Thursday, February 26 reports Donetsk news agency.

Zakharchenko said that the DNR gives Kiev period for the withdrawal of heavy weapons from the contact line to 19:00 MSK 27th of February. Chapter DNI said that Kiev is obliged to answer heavy weapons as Minsk signed an agreement on 12 February. If the Ukrainian side does not, DNR reserves the right to return the previously allocated heavy weapons to their former positions as of February 12, 2015, said Zakharchenko.

As previously reported IA REGNUM , General Staff of Armed Forces of Ukraine announced the start of withdrawal of heavy weapons in the Donbass only in the afternoon on February 26. At the same time in Kiev stressed that in case of attack by the DNR and LC, the schedule of withdrawal of heavy weapons will be adjusted.

In the army DNR announced a withdrawal of its heavy equipment in accordance with the Minsk Agreement still on February 24th. Today Alexander Zakharchenko said that already allocated 90% of the total holdings of the DNI heavy weapons. Earlier LC announced the disqualification of 80% of the heavy equipment.
