WASHINGTON, Feb. 2 – RIA Novosti, Dmitry Zlodorev. Minister US Defense Secretary Ashton Carter on Tuesday admitted that he does not know whether to shut down the military prison at Guantanamo Bay this year.

At the meeting, at the Economic Club of Washington host asked Carter whether a prison is closed, “before he left the Pentagon.” “I do not know. I would like to see this prison was closed, it is good for us. But first we have to find another place that will contain people who should be in prison,” – said the Minister.
“I do not know whether it will be done this year,” – concluded Carter.
