Media: against the organizers of the concert Leps criminal case – RIA Novosti

TBILISI, December 8 – RIA Novosti, Magee Kikaleyshvili. The Georgian Interior Ministry has opened a criminal case against the organizers of the concert was held in Tbilisi Russian singer Grigory Leps, after a local television journalist “Maestro” said her kept locked because of the questions asked. Leps concert took place in Tbilisi on Sunday night and passed with the full notice. In this case, before the concert several dozen Georgian citizens lined up in a “corridor of shame” at the entrance of the concert hall in protest against the “pro-Russian” Georgian-born artist (real name actor Lepsveridze).

Georgian television journalist “Maestro” said that, after a short interview before the concert with the artist, the guards and the alleged organizers of the event for about an hour continued to hold her in her room and abused for “inappropriate and not agreed in advance questions.” The journalist said that Leps asked three questions, two of which were of a general nature, and the third concerned its attitude towards Russia.

“The case was initiated under Article 143 of the Criminal Code of Georgia (illegal deprivation of liberty), which is punishable by imprisonment for a term of four to five years”  211; the TV. The journalist is summoned to the Interior Ministry.
