Obama expressed hope for normalization of relations with Cuba – Moskovsky Komsomolets

US President Barack Obama said that the US government planned to normalize relations with Cuba will allow Washington to have more influence on what happens in this country.

In response to the question of whether the reigns in his opinion, the dictatorship in Cuba, Obama said: “This is a country with a one-party system. But it should be remembered that the same countries are China and Vietnam.”

According to Obama, in regard to the possibility to exclude Cuba from the list of countries sponsoring terrorism, drawn up by the US State Department, currently “there is a process very detailed study and review. ” “The most important thing is that this list was used, based on facts and not on the basis of ideology, – said the US president. – We will examine whether there are cases of active support of Cuba terrorism”.
