MOSCOW, December 6 – RIA Novosti. Stavropol, Ulyanovsk and Belgorod won prizes in the All-Russian competition for the title of “Most well-appointed urban (rural) settlement of Russia” in in 2013, according to the website of the Government of the Russian Federation on Saturday.
The draft executive order of the Cabinet on the outcome of the competition has made the Ministry of Construction of Russia. The contest is held annually in six categories of municipalities. Municipalities, won a prize in the competition, the Russian government awarded diplomas I, II or III level and a cash prize.
“In awarding the winners in the federal budget for 2014 and the planning period of 2015 and 2016 provided 95 million rubles … At the end of the next competition prizes were awarded to the city of Stavropol, Ulyanovsk, Belgorod, “- said in a statement.
As specified on the website of the Cabinet, not less than 90% of the aggregate amount of premiums is directed to the development of housing and communal services and improving livability municipality, as well as up to 10% of premiums directed to rewarding employees of organizations that have achieved the best results in the work on the development of housing and communal services and enhance the livability of the municipality.
“The decisions are aimed at stimulating the activity of local governments in the development of housing and communal services and enhance the livability of the territories,” – said in a statement.
At the end of 2012 were among the winners of Kaluga, Cheboksary Tambov, and Vladimir Kemerovo.
