The Ukrainian government will increase funding for the Army and the Ministry of Defense – of Polit.ru

The Ukrainian government has increased funding for law enforcement agencies at the expense of the state budget, said on Ukrainian “Channel Five” the head of the parliamentary committee on security and defense Sergey Pashinsky.

Pashinsky recalled that the current budget of the National Guard Ukraine is 1.3 billion hryvnia (about 83 million dollars). In 2015, the National Guard will be allocated 8 billion hryvnia (500 million dollars). The Ministry of Defense in the next year will receive 45-47 billion hryvnia (about 2.8 – 3 billion dollars).
