Parents killed in Syria Russian military Vadim Kostenko – Alexander and Svetlana Kostenko – do not believe in the story of the suicide of their son. They stated in an interview with Reuters.

The younger sister of Kate Vadim and his aunt Anna Musienko told Reuters, which also do not believe in the suicide theory. According to them, Vadim had a good relationship with his girlfriend, summer, he introduced her to his family and was planning to marry her.

Musienko also said that her nephew was proud of serving in the armed forces and sought to become a pilot. According to her, Vadim told relatives that he and his friends could not refuse to serve in Syria, when there was such a possibility.

The Defense Ministry explained that Kostenko was killed in a suicide at the airbase Hmeymim in Syria.
