In the 82nd year of his life, he died in Moscow Russian filmmaker George Yungvald-Khil’kevich. This was reported by Interfax in the Union of Cinematographers of Russia. P ezhisser was hospitalized on November 3.

According to spouse director Nadira Jungvald Khil’kevich , George Yungvald-Khil’kevich died at the Botkin Hospital of heart failure. In a conversation with Tass, she explained that the death of the husband she had learned from the media, to confirm this fact, she had to go to the hospital. “There I was told that George Emilevich died, it happened at 07:30 in the morning,” – said Nadir Jungvald-Khil’kevich. According to her, the issue of farewell and funeral will be decided at the end of the day.

Jungvald-Khil’kevich born on October 22, 1934 in Tashkent. He graduated from the Tashkent Institute of Architecture (1956), Tashkent Theatre and Art Institute (1963), Higher Courses for Scriptwriters and Directors (1966).

In one of his first films – “Dangerous Tour” – starred Vladimir Vysotsky. The director became widely known thanks to the movie “The Three Musketeers.” The last film Yungvald-Khilkevich was the painting “The Return of the Musketeers, or the treasures of Cardinal Mazarin.”
