Turkish media reported that Russian air strike on a humanitarian convoy in Syria – RBC

The Turkish human rights organization Humanitarian Relief Foundation (IHH) reported air strike on a convoy of trucks carrying humanitarian aid to the town of Azaz in northern Syria near the Turkish border. It is said on Twitter the organization.

The message is accompanied by photographs of the firefighters extinguish burning trucks. “Detachments of civil defense IHH work at the site after Russian warplanes attacked a truck carrying humanitarian aid in Azaz,” – reads the photo caption.

At the same time the Turkish state news agency Anadolu, citing its sources claim that the airstrike was caused precisely by Russian videoconferencing. The agency reports at least seven dead and ten injured as a result of an air strike. The publication stresses that a convoy of trucks carrying humanitarian aid for refugees.

Western politicians and the media have repeatedly accused the Russian side in striking targets that are not associated with the militants banned in Russia “Islamic state.” Moscow insists that strikes are only positions LIH and other terrorist groups.
