Human rights activists reported that the attack on the office in Ingushetia – BBC Russian

The human rights organization “Committee for the Prevention of Torture” stated that its office in the Ingush town of Karabulak, was attacked by armed men in camouflage and masks.

According to the Russian service Bi- BBC in the organization, to the building of about 15 people arrived. Two of them came to the office and broke the window, and then climbed inside. Now they are trying to open the door to others.

Now there is no one in the building, and for a while a while defenders were able to observe using external cameras. However, to date they have already knocked out.

According to the organization, at least one of the unknown men armed with a pistol. On the record with cameras that have emerged in social networks, on the chest even one person can see a shorter machine.

Shortly before it became known that the unknown attacked the border of Ingushetia and Chechnya in the van of human rights defenders. People are forced out of the car and beaten, and robbed some. Minibus with all their belongings burned.

Among the victims were mainly journalists, including foreign ones, were made at the invitation of human rights press tour on the territory of Chechnya and Ingushetia. Severe injuries he managed to escape.

According to the journalists, the attackers were about 20 people, all of them were also wearing masks. They called passenger minibus terrorists. Official comments have been reported about the incident by law enforcement services.
