Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived on 10 December, a one-day official visit to Tashkent, during which he will hold talks with Uzbek counterpart Islam Karimov. Moscow hopes that during this visit will be filmed on the mutual financial claims, in particular, solve the problem of debt Uzbekistan totaling approximately $ 890 million. Russia intends to provide a discount to the sum of the Uzbek debt, so that the remainder of the debt repaid bullet Tashkent delivery.
