Thursday in France declared a national day of mourning in memory of killed in the attack on the editor of the satirical weekly Charlie Hebdo in Paris.

In the afternoon will be held a moment of silence, and will ring the bells of Notre Dame.

President Francois Hollande will hold a minute of silence in Police headquarters: among the dead were two police officers.

In the past evening and night, tens of thousands of people took to the memorable action throughout France. Many held leaflets that read “Je suis Charlie” (I – Charles).

Such actions took place in other cities around the world. In Moscow on Thursday, many sympathizers are going to bring candles and flowers at the French Embassy.

Muslim leaders in France condemned the attack and called on the people to beware of extremist manipulation.
