Saudi Arabia condemned the terrorist attack in Paris – RIA Novosti

MANAMA, January 8 – RIA Novosti. Saudi Arabia strongly condemned the attack on the editor of the French satirical weekly Charlie Hebdo, which resulted on Wednesday killed 12 people.

“The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with deep sorrow that I learned about the terrorist attacks that underwent revision weekly Charlie Hebdo in Paris” – said in a statement the official representative of the kingdom, which extended the satellite channel “Al Arabiya”.

He said that the kingdom “strongly condemns this cowardly act of terrorism.” According to the representative of the Saudi government, Islam, like other religions and beliefs, rejects such acts.

The Saudi Arabian authorities have brought condolences to the victims of the terrorist attack, the government and people of “friendly” France and wished speedy recovery to the wounded.

On Wednesday morning the three strangers made a fire in the building of the weekly Charlie Hebdo in Paris, killing 12 people, including eight journalists and two policemen. The attackers fled the scene, repeatedly clashed with the police. Later, the media reported that police suspect in the attack three French of Algerian descent, two of whom visited Syria in the summer. Liberation confirms the findings of other media that the three men 34, 32 and 18 years.
