Iran will discuss with the largest oil producers freeze their prey only when its level in the country will reach 4 million barrels per day. This was stated by Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh oil.
“As long as we have not reached a production level of 4 million barrels per day, they (the other oil-producing countries) should leave us alone. When we reach this level of production, we can cooperate with them “- he said during a visit to the construction of a new oil refinery in the port city of Bandar Abbas on the Persian Gulf coast.
According to Press TV channel, Zanganeh also stressed that he would discuss the “oil politics” during talks in Tehran with Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak in the Monday, March 14.
Officials of the Ministry of Petroleum of the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI) had previously stated that they intend to increase production from 2.8 million barrels per day in 2015 to 3.6 million barrels in the second half of 2016. At the same time, according to Zanganeh, by March 20, Iran’s oil exports will reach 2 million barrels per day.
