Turkish court arrested the alleged murderer of the Russian pilot of the Su-24 – RBC

A Turkish court for three months arrested a suspect in the murder of the Russian Su-24 pilot Alparslan Celik. It is reported by CNN Turk.

Celik, along with six colleagues were arrested for illegal possession of firearms. The eight other detainees were released on bail. During the court session Celik denied the charges.

At fourteen he associates was detained in the province of Izmir on 31 March during a police raid. Later, he was charged on several articles, including fraud. An arrest warrant was also is associated with the fact that Celik in 2014 escaped from prison, where he was to spend 2.5 years for multiple offenses.

The reason for the detention of Turkish citizens was the anonymous caller, whose author said that some people are sitting in the restaurant with a gun. As a result of detention of the group, which included Celik , found a Kalashnikov rifle, two way radios, six guns and 150 rounds of ammunition.
