Armenia acceded to the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union – Lighthouse


 Armenia acceded to the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union. The corresponding document was signed today by the head of the several states at a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in Minsk.

 

 Vladimir Putin expressed hope that after the removal of customs and administrative barriers to trade with Armenia will be increased. Also, the President has proposed changes to the agreement on Ukraine-EU Association. The President noted that Kyiv and Brussels have listened to the arguments of the Russian side, decided to postpone the application of the economic bloc agreements.
