Oslo announced the winners of the Nobel Peace Prize in 2014. They were Pakistani schoolgirl Malala Yousafzai and 60-year-old human rights activist Kailash Satyarti from India.
The award was given to them for the struggle against the oppression of children and adolescents and for the right of all children to education.
Kailash Satyarti dedicated his life to fighting for the rights of children who are forced to earn a living.
Malala Yousafzai is known for being performed all over the world for the rights of girls to education, for which the Taliban in Afghanistan have tried to shoot her.
Kailash Satyarthi fighting for the rights of children for over twenty years. His charitable organization “Bachpan Bachao Andolan” Failed to release of the slave conditions of life more than 80,000 children around the world.
All exempt children were assisted in their reintegration into society and in education.
Sakharov Prize and Politkovskaya
Malala Yousafzai became known worldwide in 2012.
In 2009, in the Swat Valley in Pakistan, where the Taliban-controlled Local authorities have banned girls from attending school, 11-year-old Malala Yousafzai decided to defend their right to education.
She began blogging under a pseudonym for the BBC B, dedicated to fighting for the rights of children and quickly became very popular .
In October 2012, armed Taliban have made an attempt at it – she survived, but almost lost her hearing. Now 17-year-old girl living in the UK with his parents.
Her father got a job at the Consulate of Pakistan in Birmingham. Malala itself goes to school in Birmingham.
She continued to campaign for the rights of children around the world for education.
Malala Yusufzai has already received the Sakharov Prize and Anna Politkovskaya.

Nobel Foundation was established in 1900 as a private, independent non-governmental organization, with an initial capital of 31.6 million SEK (at current prices, this amount is equivalent to approximately 1.65 billion kroons).
Prize laureates were paid from the interest on securities transactions.
In 2012, the size of the Nobel Prize has decreased by 20 percent, to avoid reducing the company’s capital in the long perspective.
At the moment it is 8 million Swedish kronor ($ 1 000 000).
If the prize is awarded to two people, it will be divided equally. In the case where more than two winners of the Nobel committee decides what kind of share received by each of them.
Many of the awardees transfer the money to charity.
Winners also receive the Nobel medal.
