President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko satisfied resignation Defense Minister Valery Geletey. This was reported on the website of the President of Ukraine.
Poroshenko going to submit a candidate for the post of Defense Minister of Ukraine tomorrow, October 13. The Ukrainian leader said he was confident that the Supreme Rada to support his proposed candidacy Oct. 14.
The report states that Poroshenko believes that “it is time to change the leadership of the military department” .
Geletey served as Minister of Defence in July 2014. In early October, Russia’s Investigative Committee opened a criminal case against Geletey – Ukrainian defense minister accused of murder, the use of prohibited means and methods of warfare and genocide. Geletey TFR was declared wanted.
