Russia vetoed the draft resolution on the establishment of the tribunal by Boeing – BBC

Russia’s veto in the UN Security Council a draft resolution on the establishment of an international tribunal to investigate the collapse of the Malaysian Boeing in the Donbass.

For the adoption of Resolution spoke 11 UN Security Council members, three opted abstain. Russia used its right of veto and blocked the adoption of the project.

Previous Russia’s permanent representative to the UN Vitaly Churkin said that Russia will vote against the draft resolution of the UN Tribunal for the collapse of the Malaysian Boeing in Ukraine.

The Boeing airlines Malaysia Airlines, en route from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur, was shot down over the territory of Donetsk region. As a result of the disaster killed 298 people. A year after the disaster, official data on the causes and those responsible for the tragedy has not yet been installed.
