Russia’s FSB border guards detained in the Black Sea Ukrainian tanker “Smolny” with a cargo of diesel fuel, which is was not designed properly, Tass reported.

«On examination it was found out that there is a tanker captain. The crew, consisting of 10 people, missing all official documentation and automated identification system. That is, the ship is actually a “ghost” is not visible to the public regulatory authorities “, – told the agency FSB Border Guard in the Republic of Crimea.

During the arrest the ship was in the Russian economic zone. The FSB is suspected that the tanker illegally bought and sold fuel in the high seas.

According to the agency Kryminform, detention occurred on July 18, but reported him just now. “Smolny”, owned by “Yuvas-trans” to the beginning of the year about seven times violated the legislation on the state border, the agency FSB. At the same time the ship several times without the permission of the Russian border guards going down into the territorial waters of the Russian Federation.

The tanker was carrying one thousand tons of fuel oil and 160 tons of diesel fuel without documents, now the ship was arrested and taken to the port of Kerch, company owner faces a fine of more than 3 million rubles.
