
Slovenian Army units will help the police to deal with the influx of refugees to the Slovenian-Croatian border. This was announced on Saturday after an emergency meeting of the National Security Council, Prime Minister of Slovenia Miro Cerar.

From the early morning Saturday hundreds of migrants began arriving in Slovenia through Croatia, after Hungary previous evening closed its border with Croatia.
During one morning, about 600 people, located in the center for refugees on the border of Croatia and Serbia, were taken on buses to two border crossings with Slovenia.
According to the Agency for Refugees, all refugees are registered and delivered to the Austrian border.

Hungary fenced off
On Saturday morning, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary Peter Siyarto announced that Hungary temporarily introduce border controls on its border with Slovenia in order to prevent the penetration of thousands of refugees.

Earlier, at midnight Saturday, Hungary closed its border with Croatia, trying to stop the flow of migrants heading to Germany and Austria.
