Concern “Almaz-Antey” appealed the sanctions of the European Union – RBC

The Russian military Concern PVO “Almaz-Antey” appealed the sanctions imposed by the EU Council in July and September 2014, according to the press-service of the enterprise. The company said the filing of appeal to the General Secretariat of the EU Council. “Almaz-Antei” demands to revise the assessment of the “factual circumstances” and provide data on the basis of which he was hit by the restrictive measures.

With the company stressed that “the Council decision on the inclusion of the group in the sanctions lists are in violation of law norms and principles of the EU. ” Representatives of the “Almaz-Antei” drew attention to the absence of any evidence of his involvement in the Ukrainian crisis.

The general director of the group Ian Novikov said that since the establishment of the concern has never supplied arms to the territory of Ukraine. “Further evidence of our involvement in the destabilization of the situation in Ukraine and the EU Council is not represented,” – said Novikov.
