Putin: it is necessary to raise the level of knowledge of the native language in Russia – RIA Novosti

MOSCOW, May 19 – RIA Novosti. In Russia, it is necessary to raise the level of knowledge of the native language, the only way it can maintain and develop, said Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“Of course, we need to increase level of knowledge of the native language, the only way to preserve it and to develop a decent base for a decent basis, “- said Putin, speaking at a joint meeting of the Council for Interethnic Relations and the Russian language.

Commenting on the statement of one of the speakers at the meeting regarding the mistakes made by the traffic police, writing out receipts, Putin said: “Thank God that at least a receipt prescribed, even, and with mistakes, as long subscribed to”.

The President also commented on the words on the error of doctors issuing prescriptions, noting that often impossible to make out what is written. “The doctors write so that he did not understand”, – Putin said.
