The presidents of Russia, France, Ukraine and the German chancellor held a telephone conversation in the “Norman format.” Vladimir Putin stressed the importance of direct dialogue with the representatives of the Kiev authorities in Donetsk and Lugansk regions.
The conversation was initiated by the German side.
The two leaders discussed the situation in the south-east of Ukraine in the context of the Minsk agreements. “Highlighted the necessity of strict compliance and comprehensive in order to de-escalate the conflict”, – reported the press service of the Kremlin.
Vladimir Putin once again called the most important condition for the settlement of: establishing a direct dialogue with the representatives of the Kiev authorities of Donetsk and Lugansk, including in the framework of the contact group.
