Prosecutors: the conflict began in Mukachevo because the division of spheres of influence – RIA Novosti

MOSCOW, July 11 – RIA Novosti. The armed conflict in Mukachevo in western Ukraine began from -this distribution of spheres of influence, with the participation of nationalists “Right Sector”, the prosecutor Transcarpathia.

At the same prosecutor’s office called the second side of the conflict. Earlier, the volunteer corps “Right Sector” Andrei Sharaskin said the firing is directly linked to the organization channel blocking smuggling. “Right Sector” connects events in Mukachevo with the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Michael Lano godfather and leader of public movement “Ukrainian choice” special representative in negotiations on Kiev Donbass Victor Medvedchuk.

After that, according to the prosecutor’s office started conflict, which escalated into a shootout.

It was reported earlier that during the shooting in Mukachevo in western Ukraine wounded 10 people, four of them – commandos, one – of

the criminal police and five civilians. According to the Ukrainian security forces killed three opened fire, five were wounded. Head of the “Right Sector” in Transcarpathian region, Alexander Sachko confirmed the involvement of the organization to the shooting in Mukachevo, and said that the police opened fire on members of volunteer corps without notice.

Advisor to Interior Minister Anton Gerashchenko noted that the situation in Mukachevo stabilized and will be resolved peacefully within a few hours.

“Right Sector” – Ukrainian association of radical nationalist organizations. In January and February 2014, gunmen movement clashed with the police and the seizure of administrative buildings, and in April – in the suppression of protests in eastern Ukraine.

In November 2014 the Supreme Court recognized the right radical union extremist organization and banned its activities in Russia. In January, “Right Sector” entered in the register of banned organizations in Russia. Earlier leader of the movement against Russian Dmitry Yarosh was prosecuted for incitement to terrorist activity.
