TFR is looking for vandals desecrated monuments in Ukraine – TVNZ

At the disposal of the Russian IC were concrete evidence of systematic destruction and desecration of unidentified persons on the territory of Ukraine in 2014. The monuments dedicated to Soviet soldiers fight against fascism.

– Since January 6, 2014 in clay Zolochiv district, Lviv region demolished a monument to thirty-two soldiers-liberators who died during the Great Patriotic War – List “Komsomolskaya Pravda” in the UK Russia. – February 10 in the city of Odessa damaged monument to the dead sailors and ships of the Black Sea Shipping Company, February 22 in the city of Stry Lviv region of Ukraine demolished monument to Soviet soldiers, on March 18 and May 5 in the city of Dnipropetrovsk region Novomoskovsk desecrated a memorial dedicated to the memory of Holocaust victims, 9 April in Dry Lyman Odessa region destroyed a monument to soldiers who died during the Great Patriotic War, September 24 in Kiev near Babi Yar memorial desecrated “Menorah”, dedicated to the Jews who died during the Second World War, on October 7 in Kharkov was broken plaque Hero of the Soviet Union Pyotr Vasilevsky.

The department noted that all these monuments are symbols of military glory of the Soviet soldiers in the fight against fascism, and because the Russian Federation is the legal successor of the USSR, these unlawful acts against the interests of Russia.

– In accordance with Part 3 of Art. 12 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, foreign citizens and stateless persons not residing permanently in Russia, committed a crime outside of Russia, subject to criminal liability in cases where the crime is directed against the interests of the Russian Federation – the official representative of the Russian IC Vladimir Markin. – Upon the destruction, damage or desecration of sculptural and architectural structures devoted to the struggle against fascism and the victims of fascism, burial places participants in the struggle against fascism, as well as the desecration of symbols of military glory of Russia, publicly committed on the territory of Ukraine opened a criminal case on grounds of crimes under Part . 2, Art. 244 of the Criminal Code (desecration of the dead bodies and their burial places) and p. 3 art. 354.1 of the Criminal Code (rehabilitation of Nazism).
