Peskov said Putin about the negotiations at the summit of the BRICS – RBC

A spokesman for the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, told about the negotiations of Vladimir Putin at the bilateral meetings preceding the summit of the BRICS in Ufa. On the situation in Greece and Ukraine, according to Peskov, these meetings have not talked.

At the meeting with President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, according to Peskov, discussed the situation on the Tajik-Afghan border, the situation of migrant workers in Russia. Peskov indicated that remittances from migrant workers make up a significant part of the economy of Tajikistan. But he stressed that everything should be in accordance with the laws.

From the President Rahmon also been requested to assist in the training and retraining of teachers of the Russian language. Putin instructed the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov to intensify work in this direction, Peskov added.

At the talks with South African President Jacob Zuma discussed the corrective measure of the economic situation in the bilateral relations. Peskov said that South Africa, like many countries, there has been a reduction in turnover: the decline of 9% in the past year, 17% – in January-April 2015. As a priority in the talks discussed the launch of a program for the development of nuclear energy, said Peskov. Also discussed the resumption of military-technical cooperation.

The talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping held in the course of an ongoing dialogue at the highest level. In particular Peskov told about preparation Putin’s visit to Beijing on September 3. According to him, during the second week of December will be held as an intergovernmental commission.

The leaders also discussed the topic of the downturn in trade and economic relations. Peskov said that the decline in trade was almost 30%. The two leaders are firmly convinced that the capacity of countries is enough to overcome the negative trends, said Peskov. Putin, according to his representative, expressed “absolute confidence that the Chinese leadership has the potential” to reverse the situation in the stock market. Also addressed the topic of military-technical cooperation.

The topic was discussed military-technical cooperation and the negotiations between Putin and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The leaders also talked about the interaction between India and the Eurasian Economic Union. In addition, Putin and Modi touched the topic of nuclear energy.
