Of course the meeting lasted for about 7 minutes. As explained by lawyer Ivan Zhdanov, Nemtsov – a close friend of Navalny, so the defense sought to suspend the administrative arrest for a day – from 6 am March 3 to 6 am on March 4.

The corresponding norm is spelled out in the 3rd paragraph 17 of Article 67 of the Federal Law. The court may release the person from detention if he died a relative or close friend.

Before retiring to the deliberation room, Judge Zubov clarified the defense, whether composed Nemtsov and Navalny related. After receiving a negative response, she wrote the decision for almost an hour and as a result refused Navalny. After the meeting, defense pointed out that even if it submits an appeal, the superior court will not have time to consider it. Soon it became known that the complaint will be forwarded to the Moscow City Court. The press service of the court noted that on Monday the corresponding meeting can not take place because of the Presnensky court will not have time to bring the materials of the administrative case. Hearings can only walk on Tuesday.
