MOSCOW, March 12 – RIA Novosti. Numerous violations of fire safety requirements identified in the Kazan shopping complex “Admiral”, which contributed to the collapse of structures and deaths, reported the Central Emergency Management in the Republic of Tatarstan.

The Office notes that after the fire “metal structures immediately lay down and blocked the escape route for people”.

The fire in the largest shopping center of the capital of Tatarstan appeared on Wednesday afternoon and spread on an area of ​​4000 square meters. According to the MOE, collapsed intermediate floors of the main body. The building were evacuated more than 650 people. According to recent reports, the victims of the fire were five people.

According to the MOE, the elimination of consequences of emergency involved 435 people and 100 vehicles, including three helicopters and fire train.
