eight year old girl died in a collision war machine armed forces of Ukraine in Donetsk region Konstantinovka. Aunt of the child, who was with her, was in the hospital with injuries.
The accident occurred near the city hospital about three o’clock in the afternoon on Monday.
Regional Police reported that airborne combat vehicle (BMD) ran over pedestrians – a woman with two children.
According to the head of the regional police later Vyacheslav Abroskin, the second child, who was in a wheelchair, was not injured. However, the 39-year-old woman received injuries of varying severity.
He said the accident occurred due to the fact that the military violated the rules of the road.
“Those responsible for the accident, two soldiers, detained and handed over to the military prosecutor, “- wrote Vyacheslav Abroskin in Facebook.
The Ministry of Defense reported that the driver lost control of the car and ran to the passers-by.
The department indicated that about accidents reported to the military prosecutor, and those responsible for the accident be held to strict liability.
“In addition, for the lack of proper control will be punished respective commanders” – said the Ministry of Defence.
In the late afternoon more than 100 people went to the building industrial college dorm, where they live Ukrainian military. The crowd knocked the glass in the building and set fire to several buses near it. Then the angry people went in the direction of the school, which also housed the military.
A resident Konstantinovka Maria told me that a couple of hours after the accident in its place was a large crowd of people.
According to her, locals worry that the perpetrators go unpunished, and in an accident blamed pedestrians themselves.
Kostiantynivka is controlled by the Ukrainian authorities.
