MOSCOW, March 8 – RIA Novosti. A court in Moscow on Sunday ordered the arrest of five detainees in the murder of politician Boris Nemtsov: the judge took into account the arguments of the investigation that the figures of the high-profile case can hide, threaten witnesses or destroy evidence. In this case, one of the accused has confessed on this high-profile case.
Protecting detainees intends to appeal their arrest, and the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation noted that the investigation of the crime continues.
List of defendants
Boris Nemtsov was shot dead in the center of Moscow on the night of February 28. The investigation is considering several versions of crimes, including murder for hire.
On Saturday, became aware of the arrest in the case of Zaur Dadaeva, who served in the battalion “North” Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Chechen Republic, and Anzor Gubasheva who worked in one of the private security enterprises in Moscow, as well as two other suspects, one of whom, according to preliminary data, is the younger brother Gubasheva.
There was also information that the investigation may withdraw a petition for the arrest of the detainees in the Basmanny Court of Moscow. Press secretary of the Basmanny Court Anna Fadeev told RIA Novosti that on March 8, assigned duty judge, and on Monday, March 9 the Court will be closed.
So on Sunday morning in front of the Basmanny Court, which have been strengthened security measures began to gather journalists. Around the building was parked nearly a dozen police buses and paddy wagons, law enforcement officers were patrolling the area around the building. They also prepared a metal fence, and drove to the courthouse two armored vehicle accompanied by a police car.
About the afternoon television channel “Russia 24″ reported on the interrogation of two suspects in the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation. According to the channel, and Dadaeva Gubasheva suspects were taken to the TFR on Sunday morning. “According to witnesses, last night in front of the SC were paddy wagons. Confessions
According to Fadeev, materials for the arrest of five detainees in the murder of Nemtsov was divided between the two judges: request for the arrest and Anzor Gubasheva Zaur Dadaeva that by the time the investigation was formally charged, was seen in one room, and three more – in the other.
During the meeting, the judge said that Dadaev confessed.

The court decided to arrest him until April 28 – to the same period set period of investigation for the murder of Nemtsov.
The judge decided on the basis of the investigation concerns that Dadaev may abscond, threaten witnesses or destroy evidence.
At the same time he Dadaev asked the court not to arrest him. He said that he was born in 1982 in the Stavropol region, living in Ingushetia, Single, no children previously criminally responsible not involved. “I hope that my case has been considered fair,” – said the defendant.
With regard to Gubasheva court also ordered the arrest.

The court took into account that Gubashev accused of grave and especially grave crimes, can escape from the trial, may come into contact with partners that have not yet established a consequence, threaten witnesses, destroy evidence. “It is enough grounds to accuse Gubasheva of involvement in the crime, as evidenced by the case file,” – said the judge.

In another room Basmanny Court considered a request for the arrest of three other defendants in the crime: Khamzat Bakhaeva, Tamerlane and Eskerhanova Shagit Gubasheva.

Meanwhile, the investigator stated that sufficient evidence of guilt of these defendants in the case. He noted that the suspects, as participants in the crime, witnesses reported. The investigator has expressed fears that if more lenient preventive measure suspects facing heavier penalty be able to hide, threaten witnesses and victims, to negotiate with yet unidentified accomplices to prevent establish the truth of the case.

Protection considers that the investigation has no evidence of involvement of suspects in the alleged crime. All of them complained of poor health. Two suspects in six children, and the third a pregnant wife.
The lawyer Sophia Rubackytė told RIA Novosti that the judgment of their arrest will be appealed. “I will file a complaint against the arrest,” – she said.
The complaint must be considered in the Moscow City Court.
