An interesting dialogue on the Ukrainian crisis occurred in the lower house of the US Congress – the first channel

US permanent representative to the United Nations Samantha Power was forced to answer embarrassing questions Congressman Dana Rohrabacher, who unlike most of his colleagues calls an objective consideration of the conflict. He, in particular, pointed out that, according to him, shelling settlements of Donbass are not militias, and Ukrainian law enforcers. And in many cases it is a question of mercenaries.

US permanent representative to the United Nations Samantha Power was forced to answer embarrassing questions Congressman Dana Rohrabacher, who unlike most of his colleagues called for objective consideration of the conflict. He, in particular, pointed out that, according to him, shelling settlements of Donbass are not militias, and Ukrainian law enforcers. And in many cases it is a question of mercenaries.

“I was in Europe and talked to some people associated with the exploration of different countries. They told me that in reality the Ukrainian military units made up of one-third of people which are not military, and paid some oligarchs “- said D.Robaker.

” I’m not going to listen to the version of Russian President Putin, “- said Samantha Power.

” But if you – US Ambassador to the UN, you should pay attention to the statements of all the parties, to evaluate them and not reject them. Because I personally believe that if it had not happened the violent overthrow of the elected government in Ukraine, we would not be in such a situation ” – said Robaker.

The fact that the majority of those killed and injured in the conflict in the Donbass were victims of actions of Ukrainian law enforcers, Samantha Power, too, has refused to recognize. This, she said, “it is unlikely”. She also referred to the reports of the UN and the OSCE – but exactly what, and did not elaborate.
