The Moscow City Court refused to hand over to a military court the question of extending the arrest of Zaur Dadaeva – the alleged murderer Boris Nemtsov, reports RBC.

According to the document, Dadaev was dismissed from service March 1, 2015, after the assassination of Nemtsov. Thus, in accordance with the requirements of the Code of Criminal Procedure the decision to arrest Dadaeva had to take a military court, the lawyer insisted. The prosecutor, in turn, added that the decision on the jurisdiction of the case of the murder of Nemtsov will be made after the transfer of the investigation to the court for consideration on the merits.
