“Union” with the crew undocked from the ISS and headed to Earth – RIA Novosti

Korolev (Moscow Region), June 11 – RIA Novosti. “Soyuz TMA-15M” with a crew of Anton Shkaplerova (Roscosmos), Samantha Kristoforetti (ESA) and Terry Vertsa (NASA ) undocked from the International Space Station (ISS), told RIA Novosti spokesman for the Mission Control Center (MCC).

“It is expected that four orbiting round landing capsule with the astronauts landed in a predetermined area on the territory of Kazakhstan,” – RIA Novosti learned from the Mission Control Center (MCC).

Search-and-rescue support landing “Soyuz TMA-15M” organized by the Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsia) with the involvement of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the Federal Medical-Biological Agency (FMBA of Russia) and the Russian Federal Space Agency (Roscosmos). Agencies have already confirmed their readiness to host the operation.

The total for the organization of search and rescue support landing “Soyuz TMA-15M” planned to use two AN-12, one AN-26 aircraft, 12 Mi 8 (2 spares), 6 search and recovery vehicles (TEM) (+2 in Arkalyk and 1 in reserve), 15 units of auxiliary equipment and more than 220 specialists in various departments. Manual search and rescue activities entrusted to the deputy head of the Federal Air Transport Agency Alexander Vedernikov.
