President Vladimir Putin will soon hold a meeting with the governors of the victorious single day of voting, according to “Kommersant”.
Absent will be only the governor of the Irkutsk region, because the region will have the second round of elections on 27 September and the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District (YaNAO) where the head has not yet been approved by Parliament.
Depending on the President’s working schedule such a meeting could take place on September 17. Legally, this is correct: the official results of the election under the laws of subjects of the Russian Federation should be announced no later than ten days after the vote, but in practice it happens within three days.
«Meeting really planned,” – confirmed the news -Secretary President, Dmitry Peskov, but it did not specify a date.
