In Kamchatka, four secondary schools and three kindergartens closed for quarantine because of the increasing incidence of influenza and SARS, according to Press Service Krai Government.
According to the January 25, Kamchatka officially confirmed 39 cases of swine flu. It is reported that among the cases – 15 children.
«In the Kamchatka region is completely closed for quarantine four schools: in Tigilskiy, Sobolev, Ust-Kamchatsky municipalities in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky (school №41). Nor are three kindergartens: in Tigilskiy, Olyutorskii and Ust-Kamchatsky regions. In addition to these institutions, and to quarantine closed 27 classes in secondary schools of the region. The number of cases of influenza and SARS in them exceeded the 20% threshold. Including 15 class – in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky: schools №34 and №3. In addition, it covered 15 groups in preschool, “- said in a statement.
According to the Ministry of Health of the Kamchatka region, over the past day were hospitalized 32 people, 24 of them – with the SARS (including three children) and eight – with pneumonia.
«Now Ill take all the necessary tests for the accurate identification of the infectious agent. All of them are hospitalized in the hospital and receive medical care. Condition in these patients is satisfactory. Meanwhile, three previously hospitalized patients are now in the intensive care unit with severe pneumonia, “- said the Acting Minister of Health, Kamchatka Territory Marina Volkova.
Previous was reported that in a number of hospitals in Vladivostok it was decided to enter the quarantine regime in connection with the increase in the incidence of influenza and SARS in the Maritime region.
