MOSCOW, January 27 – RIA Novosti. The Government of Canada is going to remove sanctions against Iran, reports Agence France-Presse, with reference to the Canadian Minister of Foreign Affairs Stephen Dion .
“Canada will lift the sanctions”, – said Dion, answering journalists’ questions in the House of Commons. “We will change this policy,” – he said, noting that the sanctions were not “nothing good” to anyone.
Specific dates lifting of sanctions in the message is not listed.Last week in Davos, Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau told RIA Novosti that the issue of lifting of economic sanctions in Canada with Iran will be decided at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, possibly in the next month or two.
