In the evening on Tuesday, Russian President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, French President Francois Hollande and the Ukrainian leader Petro Poroshenko. “Norman Four” continued to discuss the crisis in Ukraine in terms of the need to implement all provisions of the package of measures agreed in Minsk.
The leaders stressed the importance of strict observance of the cease-fire, continuing the process of withdrawal of heavy weapons under the supervision of the OSCE, the press service of the Kremlin.
