WASHINGTON, Jan. 6 – RIA Novosti, Alexei Bogdanovsky. The DPRK’s test of a hydrogen bomb would not lead to a nuclear arms race on the Korean peninsula, the expert on Korea, a professor of South Korean university Kookmin Andrei Lankov.

According to him, South Korea cope with the temptation to develop their own nuclear weapons. “Let’s face it, the temptation is there is almost half a century, but in real life to create its own nuclear weapons, South Korea will not go,” – said Lankov RIA Novosti on Wednesday.
According to him, South Korea is heavily dependent on international trade, so inevitable in the case of developing nuclear weapons sanctions will inflict a severe blow to its economy.
